Then there are the times when a finished piece has many elements. I print all of them and try many different ways of putting them together. Or I just need to make sure my engineering is right. For example, on this piece it was all about getting the bails the right size and in the right place for the necklace to feel comfortable ( it is comfortable. It looks heavy and it is slightly, but the weight is so evenly distributed it give a sensual feel to the necklace.).
