Sterling silver with a 24k gold foil applied using the kuem boo technique. The silver has been blackened with liver of sulfur.
The entire brooch measures 1.75” x 1.4” x .5”. There is also a 17” chain with a 2.5” extension connected to a .4” silver tube which fits over the brooch pin.
One of a kind.
The pearl told me it was a face and that it needed a frame like a cameo. I gave him more of a structure to be in. The gold parts are his neck.
The frame was modeled on the computer in ZBrush, 3d printed in a castable resin then cast is sterling silver. I do all the finishing work.
