OCB stands for Organic Chrysler Building. It's a reference to what the band looks like.
Size 7, sterling silver with a 24k gold foil fused using the kuem boo, and a 7.6 ct aquamarine with beautiful inclusions, 13.9mm x 10.2mm x 7.16mm.
The silver has been blackened with liver of sulfur.
Front to back is 1.2”; side to side is .98”. The height of the band is .8” in front; .43” midpoint; and .21” at the back. The top pf the aquamarine is .42” above the finger.
One of a kind.
It took me awhile to come up with a design that would fit this aquamarine. I ended up with a reveal; like a flower opening. For me, it works. I finally understand the stone.
The ring band was modeled in ZBrush, 3d printed in a castable resin, and cast in silver. I do all the finishing work.
