Sterling silver with a 24k gold foil applied using the kuem boo technique. The silver has been blackened with liver of sulfur.
The tiger measures 1.35” x .9” x .1” and has a 17” chain with a 3.25” extension.
I can make this again.
I kept the black, gold, and silver separate so the colors would match the tiger’s decisiveness. It’s based on one I saw in a mosaic. That’s where the wing comes from. I made him fiercer and really flying.
The tiger was modeled on the computer in ZBrush, 3d printed in a castable resin, and cast in sterling silver. I do all the finishing work.
