Sterling silver with a 24k gold foil fused to the silver using kuem boo. The silver has been blackened with liver of sulfur.
The tiger measures 1.35” x .9” x .1” and has a 17” chain with a 3.25” extension.

This is based on a small part of a mosaic I saw at the Met, which was a cat with wings. I made it fiercer, gave it a curve in the body, and added the stripes. He really flies. I wasn’t so sure about the one in the mosaic. I kept the black, gold, and silver separate so the colors matched the tiger’s decisiveness.
The tiger was modeled on the computer in ZBrush, 3d printed in a castable resin, and cast in sterling silver. I do all the finishing work.
