I saw an eye, a cheek, and a very long nose in this pearl, but I ignored it. I tried all sorts of other designs, which didn't work. It was going to be a face whether I liked it or not. I made her look delighted, happily surprised. Happy to see you.
The face was designed and modeled on the computer in Zbrush, 3d printed in a castable resin, cast in sterling silver, and finished with a liver of sulfur patina.
