Sterling silver, the prehnite are about 11 ct and measure approximately 20mm x 10mm x 7.2mm. The purple chalcedony are just weird shapes with orbicular inclusions. One is 4..2 ct and measures 11mm x 10.7mm x 7.7mm. The other is 5.7 ct and measures 11.6mm x 8.4mm x 6.6mm, maybe. Their shapes are so odd. Long posts and large backs for comfort. The earrings over all about 1.5" and hang about an inch below your ear. They're really light weight.
One of a kind.
I hadn’t planned for these stones to go together. They were laying side by side and I realized their tonal values were really close. I like purple and green together. I think it works because the prehnite are a little yellowish. They’re fun. I kept the settings simple because the color was the important thing.
I modeled the settings in ZBrush, 3d printed them in a castable resin, and had them cast in sterling silver. I did the finishing work.
