The necklace is about 20.5" with a 3" extension, the pendant hangs down about 1.5". The settings and the flower beads are sterling silver, with the beads blackened with liver of sulfur and the settings have a satin finish. Hook clasp. The silver has been waxed.
The dendritic agate beads are from India. They are between 4-8ct and are 20-25mm long. I chose them for their black and red color, simplicity, and abstract imagery to compliment the pendant.
The pendant is an Alatakyr Dentritic agate from Kazakstan. It's 20.9ct and measures 37.8mm x 22.5mm x 3.85.
One of a kind.
Dendritic agates are durable. Wash them with soap and water and dry with a soft cloth. Not a paper towel. I would suggest using Dr. Bronner's baby soap, which is also very good for metal. Don't use any commercial chemicals to clean them. That will harm the stones.
The flower beads and settings were on the computer in Zbrush, printed in a castable resin and cast in sterling silver, finished with a liver of sulfur patina.
