It's about the curves. They go from circular to oval very subtly. I put in the breaks above and below the stone to disguise what I was doing. Big ring, deceptively simple design.
Size 7, sterling silver with a liver of sulfur patina and a 12.3 ct high domed moonstone, 15.mm x 11.6mm x 9mm. It's cat's eye-ish, very subtle. The front is .96" x .8".
A solid piece. I took the band from one of my hubcap rings and reused it.
Designed and modeled on the computer in Zbrush, printed in a castable resin and cast in sterling silver, finished with a liver of sulfur patina. I cut the moonstone.
