A big, bold bracelet that will fit an average wrist. A little bit heavy.
Sterling silver, about 1.7” at its highest point in the front. and has a .12" thickness.
2.4” inside across the wrist, 1.6” inside front to back, back opening is 1.3".
The bracelet is inspired by Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. This was a 'can do' era. Gershwin was going for a jazz/classical fusion, imitating urban sounds, so I created a fantasy city for the front. I wanted the bracelet to be a celebration.
The piano keys on the sides are one chord from a 2-handed version of the piece. All flats.
I modeled this on the computer in Zbrush. A 3d print of the model was used to make a mold for the wax. Then it was cast in silver. I do my own finishing and polishing.
