Fishbones Chalcedony Pendant

One of the first times I had a stone tell me what piece it was going into. That was a wild experience. I had the bone part and the head and I knew the stone would be triangular. Then I saw this piece of blue uncut chalcedony and it spoke to me, which was kind of spooky. A friend told me I better get it since it spoke to me.

Sterling silver 2-part pendant with an untreated blue chalcedony about 12 carats and a 19.5” chain.

The 2 pieces of the pendant are about 4.3” x 1.73” x .47”. The fish head and stone are one piece and the bones are the other. They are connected by jump rings in the back. There’s a small piece of peridot in the crevice of the chalcedony.

Modeled on a computer using Zbrush, 3D printed, molded and cast in silver, then finished with a liver of sulfur patina. I have made another but with a different stone.
