A rectangular rough cut rose tourmaline and 2 square green tourmaline.
The rose tourmaline is 2 ct, 8mm x 8.64mm x 4mm with so many inclusions it's almost opaque.
The green tourmaline are .87 ct and .83 ct. about 4.45mm x 5.45mm x 3.5mm.
Contrasting stones, contrasting shapes. I tried to break the band by making it thin, but it's really strong. So contrasting expectations.
I modeled this on the computer in Zbrush. A 3d print of the model was made in a castable resin, then it was cast in silver. I do my own finishing and polishing.
