Two sterling silver necklaces with carved quartz and and a design of flowing lines on the back. Each with a 17" silver chain.
The larger one has a 22.5 carat quartz and measures 1.5" x .66" x .4".
The smaller one has a 10,3 carat quartz and measures 1.18" x 5.4" x 2.6"
One of a kind.
I cut the quartz on two different occasions: I first I made them very elongated ovals. Then, during a lapidary class, I decided to take advantage of the carving tools and came up with these simple shapes.
I modeled the bezel on the computer in Zbrush, 3d printed it, had it cast and finished it with a liver of sulfur patina.
