The topaz revealed these wave-like inclusions as I was cutting it, which made me think of Debussy's Clair de Lune. I put a night sky with clouds and a moon behind the topaz to fit with the curving inclusion on the topaz. There are bonus stars on the gemstone, too.
A 34.7 carat white topaz measuring 21mm x 23.7mm x 11.25mm. The entire sterling silver pendant measures 1.2" x .93" x ,4" with an 18" silver chain and hook clasp.
One of a kind.
Modeled on the computer in Zbrush, 3d printed in a castable resin, cast in silver, finished with a liver of sulfur patina. I cut the topaz. The silver has been waxed.
