The inclusions on the spessartite garnet reminded me of a ladybug. Then I put her on the leaf with the white topaz dew drop.
The garnet is 8 carat and measures 14.21mm x 9.88mm x 5.31mm. The white topaz is about 7mm in diameter.
The entire brooch measures 2.16" x 1.16" x .65" and is sterling silver blackened with a liver of sulfur patina. The silver has been waxed. I cut the garnet and topaz.
One of a kind.
