This design appeared at a halfway point to another piece. I thought they'd make nice earrings. They're happy earrings. All the petals of the dahlia emanate from the disc floret.
They were designed and modeled on the computer in Zbrush, printed in a castable resin, cast in sterling silver, and finished with a liver of sulfur patina.
